Google Nexus Unlock Root 保固問題

Android系統自從入手Nexus 7後

開始大量研究使用

最近想開起Google Map導航功能

無奈台灣地區還是無法啟用這項服務

最近搜尋到Ownhere所製作釋放出來的Google Map

但必須取得Root才可以安裝破解版Google Map

 

這也讓我擔心保固問題

雖然最近台灣地區提升至兩年保固

但一般Root後就等於喪失保固

這也讓第一次使用Android系統的我所掙扎的地方



透過關鍵字搜尋"nexus unlock warranty void"

可以搜尋到在xda上有許多人問類似的問題

Yes your warranty will be void if you unlock the bootloader or mess with your nexus 7 but its quite easy to flash a stock rom back and relock the bootloader which will put your tablet back to a FULL warranty state again.Mark.

當unlock bootloader時保固會喪失

但如果再刷回原版的ROM並且relock bootloader保固就會還原

This is a Nexus device. The device is setup to be unlocked. Unlocking does not void the hardware warranty.
There is no "counter".

 

Nexus系列的產品

因為沒有"counter"計數器

所以就沒有Unlock失去保固的問題

只要重新Relock就可以

 

另外如果將裝置變磚而無法還原

或因為其他不正常使用因素損壞

也會造成保固喪失

提醒如果螢幕破裂造成無法刷回原廠ROM也會失去保固
